Wonderful campground! To get there is a 30-50 minute drive down a winding road, however, the views on the way are worth the drive! Absolutely no cell service once you leave the nearest town. No power or modern facilities at the campground. Vault toilets are very clean. Campers were generally very quiet and friendly. Lots of dogs, not a lot of kids. Great place to get away and relax.
I absolutely loved this campground. It's tucked into the mountains just north of Aspen, a river runs through many of the site's, and there a great lake for fishing within walking distance. Our hosts were absolutely phenomenal. The bathrooms were kept pristine. This is one is going at the top of my list. Zero cell coverage from any carrier means you can disconnect and enjoy your stay!
Was there last year and had a marvelous time, four days three nights. The campsites were big and had a bear box. Nice campers next to us. The view was out of this world..
We loved it so much, we're going again next week, it's my husband's birthday and that's where he wanted to go.
The hosts were very friendly and inviting. They showed passion for the campground and the outdoors that made me feel right at home. My wife and I enjoyed our time there!
Such an awesome place! Enough trees to feel secluded. Would love to go again
